These units can be powered by connected Toshiba ASD's. However, it may be necessary to provide auxiliary power to these units. Applications that do not use the ASD connections on these units will require the use of this auxiliary power supply. Also, it may be advantageous to have this power supply during unit configuration, as the unit will need to be close to a PC or laptop computer.
