The ASD-G9ETH multiprotocol communication interface provides Ethernet-based network connectivity. The ASD-G9ETH is a communication option card for the Toshiba VF-AS1, Toshiba G9, Toshiba P9, Toshiba H9, and Toshiba Q9 9-series inverter /adjustable speed drive (ASD) / variable frequency drive (VFD).

The ASD-G9ETH provides an IEEE 802.3 10/100BaseT Ethernet port. The Ethernet port accepts standard CAT5-type 8-conductor unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) patch cables and supports multiple simultaneous protocols.

The ASD-G9ETH supports up to twenty individually configurable alarms. A configurable network timeout action can also be programmed that allows parameters to have their own unique "fail-safe" conditions in the event of a network interruption. The embedded web server provides remote configuration as well as a dashboard composed of a variety of gauges, meters and graphs that can be configured to provide an at-a-glance graphical overview of critical application variables in real-time. A total of ten gauge windows are available.
